BPC-157 and TB-500 are often discussed together in non-clinical literature, but they are unrelated molecules with different origins, sequences and evidence bases.

BPC-157
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a partial sequence of human gastric juice protein BPC. It is not FDA-approved and has no identified EMA, UK MHRA, Australian ARTG or Health Canada authorization. On its list of substances that may present significant safety risks, FDA states that it "has identified no, or only limited, safety-related information for the proposed routes of administration." [3]

TB-500
TB-500 is the synthetic, N-terminally acetylated heptapeptide Ac-LKKTETQ, corresponding to residues 17–23 of human thymosin beta-4. It is not FDA-approved. FDA lists thymosin beta-4 fragment (LKKTETQ), also known as TB-500, among withdrawn compounding nominations and states that it "has not identified any human exposure data." [3][4]
