CJC-1295 vs CJC-1295 no DAC

CJC-1295 and CJC-1295 no DAC compared: structure, identity data and regulatory status. Research Use Only.

By Ageless Research TeamReviewed October 29, 2026

CJC-1295 with DAC and Modified GRF (1-29), often sold as "CJC-1295 no DAC", share the same 29-residue GRF (1-29) backbone. The difference is one added C-terminal lysine carrying a maleimidopropionyl group, the drug affinity complex (DAC). The two are frequently confused in vendor naming.

CJC-1295 (with DAC)

CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing factor hGRF (1-29) and a GHRH-receptor agonist. It is not FDA-approved and has no identified EMA, MHRA or TGA marketing authorization. FDA lists CJC-1295 among withdrawn compounding nominations and states: "FDA has identified serious adverse events associated with CJC-1295 including increased heart rate and systemic vasodilatory reaction. Available clinical data are limited." [3] Ageless Peptides does not supply this form.

CJC-1295 no DAC (Modified GRF 1-29)

Modified GRF (1-29) is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analogue of human growth hormone-releasing factor, also called Mod GRF (1-29) and commonly, but misleadingly, called CJC-1295 no DAC. It is not FDA-approved, and no EMA, MHRA or TGA marketing authorization was identified in the reviewed evidence. FDA and Health Canada materials name "CJC-1295" without distinguishing DAC and non-DAC forms. [3][5]
